  • ChatGPT Projects are designed as a general organizational workspace. It structures ongoing conversations, custom instructions, and files across broader productivity, writing, or coding tasks.

Gemini Notebook uses Google's Gemini models to answer questions, summarize, analyze and generate content.

No. While restricting the AI to specific source documents  reduces inaccuracies, language models may still occasionally misinterpret context or generate erroneous outputs. It is best practice to verify all AI-generated content. 

 

Yes. It effectively processes complex reference materials. including PDFs, transcripts, and web sources, to extract key findings, map connections across multiple sources and draft structured research summaries.

Data privacy

Gemini Notebook is approved for ASU non-regulated, internal, and FERPA-protected data, but not for HIPAA or other regulated data. Google Workspace for Education protections apply, and Google does not use your uploads, prompts, or responses to train AI models or for human review.
