Sentinel is part of the The Veteran and Military Advocacy Training (VMAT), a course designed to help ASU faculty and staff better understand and support military-affiliated students. The course explores military culture, student experiences, and practical strategies to foster inclusive, responsive learning environments. Participants gain access to key campus and national resources and earn a Veteran & Military Champion badge upon completion. It’s about more than awareness—it’s about making every student feel they belong.

Alpha Tools are early versions built on strong research foundations, but are still being tested and reviewed for accuracy and user experience. Using Alpha tools helps identify areas for improvements and move them toward beta release.
Beta Tools have been evaluated rigorously, refined through user feedback, and are ready for broader use.
